I Understand why People Hate Religion but...

I understand why people hate Religion but Don't blame Religion! Every bad thing that has been done and is being done has been and is being done in the name of Righteousness (whatever Righteousness means to those people). I really believe that Religion is an honest attempt to guide (and lead) people to Righteousness but/and that it's the use of Religion, by humans that have corrupted them/it.

The problem with Religions aren't the religions themselves but how people have used and use religions to control and manipulate others. Every religion encourages to good but people get stuck on historical events, discussing and arguing about their validity, whether they happened and or not, and about things like who said and did what according to the religion/scriptures, when those stories actually are supposed to serve as moral compasses by delivering wisdom through the examples of the lives of others rather than a platform for intellectual conversations.

These stories convey messages that regardless of if they happened or not are valuable since they are supposed to be interpreted as metaphorical depictions of wisdom, and or, examples of how one can expect life to evolve from certain circumstances, as well as describing consequences in life to portray "the ultimate truth", the often hidden and not so evident principles of/in life. If you interpret the stories the way you would interpret a movie rather than an evidence-based text book you'd get the true, real value out of them.

You should interpret the stories the way you interpret a movie, rather than a historical text book, or any kind of evidence based text book to get the best value out of it.

I really don't think that religions are for nothing, I think that humans failed at using them properly.
